Painting | Abstract Expressionism
Berlin, Germany
Maria Schneider has established herself as one of Germany's most distinctive abstract painters, known for her large-scale canvases that explore the relationship between color, emotion, and memory.
Working primarily with oil and acrylic, Schneider creates richly textured surfaces that reward prolonged viewing, revealing subtle nuances and unexpected details. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale and Documenta.
CSFloArt Gallery is committed to discovering and supporting emerging talent. We review portfolios on a quarterly basis for potential representation and exhibition opportunities.
Please note that due to the high volume of submissions, we may take up to 8 weeks to respond.
The CSFloArt Residency Program provides selected artists with studio space, accommodation, and a stipend for 1-3 months to develop new work in a supportive environment.
Residents benefit from curatorial mentorship, technical support, and the opportunity to present their work in our Project Space at the conclusion of their residency.
Applications for our 2023-2024 residency cycle are currently open, with a deadline of September 30, 2023.
